Every black Friday I make a point for my business to buy some tools that I have needed in the past year or see myself needing in the future. This is usually a once a year sale so the prices really do make a difference at the big box stores. Also this works to lower my taxable income. Things like appliances, and large power tools often hit a price point that it make it worth it. Got a big hardwood flooring project coming up in the next year? I bet you could get the nailer and compressor for a song.
So this year I am going to get:
A table saw (Lowes 179)
Ryobi battery 3 pack (HD 119)
Wear items, things that rapidly wear out or lose/break. Gloves, Circular saw blades, utility knife blades, tape measures etc.
Contemplating a new computer and rusty trusty work truck.
Nothing is a valid answer, as well as face punches!

I am going to get a laser level for tilling and fence project.
I am also planning on getting plenty of garage/shop storage and organization accessories. Lumber racks, small parts bins etc. We'll see!

I shouldn't have read this. Tools are my "gazingus pin". I'm trying to give them up.

+1
"A table saw (Lowes 179)"
Not just any table saw, a folding portable table saw. Been looking for one on Craigslist locally to no avail. Once I saw the Lowes deal my mind was made up. Super pumped.

I bought a new hard case of drill bits to keep with my drill and driver kit (I'd broken/lost a few of the prior set)
And I might buy a new full sized fixed base router. My current one suffered a failure last week and I need to determine the cost to repair it vs the black Friday sale price of a comparable router.

I just buy as needed, but pretty well have just about anything and everything.
Next thing I may grab is a oxy / acet torch set.

Same thing here... Not only prices até lower to begin, but you can easily get an extra 40-50% off on top with CC cash backs, lowes coupon, portals and today lowes 15% rebate.
I got the top end kreg jig for 48$ out of pocket... And that table saw can be had for about $100 out of pocket!!
