Videos or books for haircutting
« on: September 30, 2014, 08:46:12 AM »
I have been cutting my husband's hair for a few years but he prefers a military style so it's rather easy to maintain. As of last week I also started cutting my own hair which again hides mistakes well since its curly.

My children however, have hair texture that is different and we keep my son's hair a bit longer than DH's and my daughter is getting to the age where she will needs her first cut soon.

Would anyone have suggestions on good resources to learn a bit more skills? My son is too young to notice that mom's hair cutting skills are not awesome and I'd really like to improve on this soon.

I appreciate in advance any suggestions on material to check out.

I don't have any books or videos (sorry!) but I do cut my own hair.

It's rather thick, but I keep it short and choppy.  The one thing that enables me to cut my own hair and hide my mistakes are my razor scissors!  Available for sure at a beauty supply store but I think I got mine at a wal-mart.  If your kids are little with that baby fine hair, I don't know if this is helpful, but it really helps me save money.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
