Title: Replacing water softener which is in vs out valve?
Post by: Sebastian on June 11, 2019, 06:17:16 AM
Hi All,

I'm taking the plunge and going to replace my water softener as it crapped out a couple of days ago. I've been doing some research and I'm feeling fairly comfortable with this install except I can't tell which pipe is the in valve and the out valve. I've attached a couple of images and hoping someone can point out some key feature that would let me know this. Any help is greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!

Look at the direction of the arrows on the valves behind the display.
