Raid Fogger vs. pro exterminator for German roaches
« on: September 11, 2015, 07:47:49 PM »
Does anybody know anything about critters?

We have a $225 estimate to fog our kitchen to kill the German roaches than live and breed around the dishwasher. The service has a 30-day guarantee.

But I see that I get four Raid foggers for about $10.

Do you think there will be a major quality difference between a professional fogger and an "over-the-counter" fogger?

Won't foggers pollute your entire kitchen? I.e. where you eat and breathe? Why not try using boric acid (borax powder--it's a laundry soap)? You can just sprinkle the stuff all around the edges of all rooms and put it all around the dishwasher and the back edges of counters, etc. Roaches get the powder on themselves and then when they clean it off it kills them. They clean it off with their mouths so that's how they ingest it. (they're actually pretty clean creatures--it's just that they hang out in dirty places so they carry disease inside them sometimes).

Fog is nasty stuff and spreads poison everywhere in the room.

Get this stuff, it works. If you have kids or pets, make sure to put it under and behind appliances where they cannot touch it.

Yes, we have to clear out the entire kitchen to have it fogged. Total nuisance, but roaches are worse.

As it happens, I have tons of Borax in the garage. I use it for homemade detergent, but didn't know it was useful for pest control. I will go get some now. THANK YOU!

And gel! You guys are AWESOME.
