I’m hoping someone here can help me with my problem. I’m looking for a battery operated food warmer but they do not exist, so I need to create one. I work long hours on locomotives and love hot meals occasionally. Without electrical outlets I use a device called “barocook” to heat my food which uses a flame less heater that’s activated with water similar to an MRE. It works fantastic but each heating element is single use and costs $2. I also do not want to use an open flame such as a small camping stove. What I’m looking for is a way to supply power to one of the coffee mugs that heats up when plugged in to a vehicles cigarette lighter. Is there any kind of battery device and adaptor I can rig to heat food? Thanks
