Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring?
« on: August 31, 2016, 09:04:55 AM »
Anyone try the newer luxury vinyl plank flooring?  I'm liking the wood look for our kitchen which opens up to the rest of the house with oak flooring.  I've thought of doing wood but the kitchen area gets lots of traffic from our dogs and am worried the wood would not hold up.

This new LVP flooring looks like it might work and any area that gets damaged the planks can be replaced easily.  It's also made specifically for areas where water might be an issue.  But I'm wondering about durability looks.

I have had Amtico put into a variety of commercial and residential (rental) projects. Clients have been pretty happy. These are really durable products (other brands as well) and the commercial applications suggest that they would bear up fine with dogs.
