So we noticed a bad ice build up in the chute from the ice dispenser. Turns out the flapper was bad and warped. Found a replacement part online for a few buck, watched a youtube video and voila! But... in the process we broke the trim ring on the dispenser. That part is 45.00 online. So we'll replace that. All in all we are in about 50.00. Still cheaper than the 100.00 house call for GE to send a repair man out.
