How to cosmetically repair a hole in the garage door?

Hi.
We have a garage door with a hole in it. The house will be offered for sale next year and I don't want this hole to give a bad first impression.
Who has a good idea to make repair it, or at least make it less visible?
I was thinking about glueing a piece of white plastic around it. DH is sceptic. Who has a better idea?

I feel like that's going to give a bad first impression no matter what you do. And if it's in the front of the house, that's not going to help you sell.
You could have just that one panel replaced (rather than the whole door), especially if you know the company that installed it.

Since it's in center of door, you could rivet some type of goofy, flat sheet metal signage, logo, coat of arms, etc. to that panel, to conceal the damage.
I'd probably just buy one new door panel.

You could take a page from car repair and bondo/repaint. Would def be less noticable

I'd replace the panel if it matches well enough colorwise. Weathering can change the color pretty quickly in some places. The boost in sale price you'll get should more than cover the cost of the repair.
