MMM team, I have a small one bathroom house from the 50's with old galvanized plumbing. From the color of the water when we return from vacation every so often I know there likely hasn't been much update to the piping. I would be excited to run pex, properly insulate and eliminate the issue, probably boost the water flow, and not have to clean out the faucet heads when a piece of rust lodges against the valve or something, BUT, the crawlspace the pipes run in is super tight. The handyman I've hired to help me occasionally on projects wouldn't even fit under the joists. Anyone done one of these swaps in a tight space before? Did you consider or even find someone else able to do it? This isn't a real immediate necessity but the next big project I want to do on the house.
