Title: DIY Tailoring?
Post by: dabighen on December 05, 2018, 06:54:14 PM
Hey all,

Anyone have any good resources on learning how to tailor suits on your own?  Mostly waist in the pants and jacket.

Bought a machine washable one where the length is good but as you get longer they think I am a fat man.

Thanks,

Matt

I just take mine to a local seamstress who does a suit for about $30. It isn't worth it to me to have to own and store a sewing machine to save that much money.

Most dry cleaners can do simple alterations as well.
