Badass fix of snowblower
« on: November 24, 2014, 01:05:45 PM »
For those if you who may remember my play set debacle, I have redeemed myself! I used the socket wrench that went so wrong on my last DIY.....

The 20+ year old snowblower we received from a family friend stopped working two years ago.  It eventually ended up in the basement.

With my new mustachian life, I decided to see if I could fix it because my hubby just thought it was kaput. I watched some you tube videos, and it really didn't look that hard to do a tune up.  If it didn't work the thing was going out Friday for garbage day....Well, it worked!!!

Here were the final expenses:
New primer bulb - $3.49
Spark plug - $5.99
Socket wrench extender to remove spark plug $2.00

Not having to manually shovel this winter - priceless!

Fuel and spark, that's all they need.  If you're missing one it'll go when you find it.
