Small steps
« on: February 04, 2014, 10:38:56 AM »
I got a raise yesterday with my annual performance review, and immediately updated my 401k contribution percentage to absorb it. Even though I'm not contributing a lot yet, it's more than enough to get the free money provided by employer matching.

Also, I hung my laundry last night for the first time, and it was already mostly dry this morning! A bit on the stiff side though, so I'll need to figure out how to remedy that. (Vinegar in the wash water maybe?)

Oh!  And I sold a kerosene heater that I had sitting around taking up space after listing it on Craigslist, and got my asking price of $100. Score!

All pretty small steps, but I feel good about them. Just a tiny bit more badass than last week. :-)

excellent baby steps.   Most weeks are babystep weeks, and they keep you in practice for the times when the bigger decisions need to be made.

If you have a dryer put it in there for about 10 minutes and then hang up. It will be wrinkle free & no longer stiff.
