Also, I know you're all desperate for an update on the cereal situation! Things have been changing with BabySLTD and I reckon I'll soon be able to get my own breakfast again while he has a wiggle on his playmat. We're currently getting him to sleep in his cot, though, and while it is going well I don't want to push him in other areas at the same time. So I'm giving myself a slight grace period with another few boxes of fancy cereal so Mr SLTD can leave my breakfast out, and then it'll be back on the porridge/homemade bread. It seems easier that way than auditioning new cereal options as the ultra low cost of future breakfasts ought to compensate sufficiently. I have only ever eaten three kinds of cereal in my life - clearly my mushiness sensitivity is off the charts.

Hey, so just one thing that occurred to me reading your last post... Do you have a sling for babe? Carrying my baby in a sling literally changed my life. I finally had 2 hands free. I could actually do things including eating and peeing. I could even - with a bit of practice - breastfeed in it. Hands free!!

Yes, but I don't use it any more because he's such a chunker my back can't keep up with how fast he's growing! I'm eagerly awaiting him being old enough for a back carry, though.

It's a form of progressive weight training. Every day, you're lifting a slightly heavier weight. We were both far stronger a few years after having children than before, due to regularly having to carry say a sleeping 6 year old from car to bed.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
