Line 150 - Child Tax Benefit?
« on: November 22, 2017, 02:47:36 PM »
Is Child Tax Benefit (cash received) to be reflected in Line 150 of our personal tax return, or not?

Assuming line 150 is for income, then no. The CCTB is tax-free.

This monthly, tax-free payment is called the Canada child benefit (CCTB).

Thanks very much, Novik :)

I googled and googled, and studied my previous return, and couldn't figure this out.

A place wanted to see Line 150 of my return, and I was concerned when I didn't see the CTB reflected on it.
I wonder why the place only wants to see my taxable income vs overall income. But okay.
