Title: Foreign ETF taxation query

Greetings

I'm an Aussie living in Europe for the time being. Looking at investing in ETFs while I'm abroad and would like to know how these will be taxed, in the event I return home and become an Aus tax resident once more. Any assistance appreciated.

Investing in ETFs on the Oz market? If so, ATO website will provide most up to date answers.

No, was looking at ETFs based in Ireland and Germany. I'll check out the link, thanks
