Went to the feed store and returned a fly mask I bought a few months ago and never used. I was expecting a hassle because I didn't have the receipt, but they were happy to give me $23 store credit for it. Went to buy a bucket of supplement, but they were out of the $75/20# buckets, and the 10# buckets were $53, so I walked out and will go to the other feed store tomorrow to get the big bucket and reap the $31 in savings on top of using my monthly $10 off coupon. $64 total saved!
Like a previous poster, I'm trying to lose a few pounds, so reducing my intake of wine, cheese and chocolate, each so delicious and expensive. Also just having one cup of coffee with coconut oil in the morning, and then switching to tea, which is incidentally cheaper as well.
Sliced up a tough steak for fajitas tonight, and saved half of it back to use for a stirfry tomorrow, which will also keep us from going out to eat before a long-awaited concert we're attending. If I'd cooked it all, we would have eaten it all.
Have been making some awesome homemade flavored kombuchas for nearly free, vs. the $3+ bottled stuff I was getting sucked into buying when my homemade stuff was sub par.
