Hi all,

I joined the USS scheme last September, and from my calculations have accrued over £5k from my 9% contributions and employer 19% to date. It is in the news today as theres a £17.5bn deficit now, which is an increase of 9bn since last year.

I wanted to get some thoughts on it and whether it's a good idea to hold tight? Obviously my employer contribution is good but the deficit is worrying. Anyone else in it? We have a vanguard LS 60 as our main fund which we could contribute further to instead.

Thanks!
