Using google calander to find conflicts
« on: January 13, 2016, 01:44:51 PM »
This has nothing to do with finances but there seem to be a lot of smart tech people on the board so what the heck (feel free to move to off topic)

I have two google calendars:
adult1@gmail.com with adult1 calendar
adult2@gmail.com with adult2 calendar

I know how to make adult1 see adult2 calendar and vice versa. What I'd like is to create a third calendar, "Child1" which contains all times that adult1 and adult2 are busy (conflicts for child care between work schedules)  Anyone know how to do this?  Double or triple bonus if it updates the Child1 calendar automatically if adult1 or adult2 changes. Anyone know an app that can do this?  Anything other than my tired brain??

Thanks!

From the child calendar, you should have an option for 'other calendars'. You can add the other calendars to it and it should overlay them over the child calendar.

Yes, I can do that but they I just see all of Adult1 and Adult2. I want ONLY times when Adult1 AND Adult2 are busy. This should be a small subset of the days/times. (both adults work rotating shift so not at all easy to see or know when they are both working)

Ahhh. I'm not sure that's possible, but good luck!
