How do I evaluate a used bike trainer?
« on: July 30, 2015, 10:06:45 AM »
I'm in the market for an indoor bike trainer. I like to buy used things when I can but I have no idea what I should know to check the functionality of one of these - unless I should just bring my bike along??

Any tips/suggestions would be appreciated. Used can save $ but I don't want to buy one and then end up with a piece of junk, either.

Specifically looking for a fluid based trainer, if that makes any difference.
