Teens and online banking/transactions

My 16 year old wants to sell clothes on some site called Depop.
She needs a Paypal account to do so.  Paypal won't (officially) allow her to have her own account.   She could use mine.... but wants to be able to conduct her own business and not have to rely on me (I can be quite disorganized.)

Any ideas for how we can set something up most easily for her?

What if you set up a second paypal account in your name using a different email and password? That way, your kid will be able to use that account without your involvement. When she's old enough to have her own legal paypal account, she can do that - and just change the payment details on Depop.

One complication, however, is tax liability if she actually makes good money. Make sure the Depop account isn't in your name hahaha

I haven't looked, but can a business set up a paypal account without the SSN of the owner? Maybe they don't need to know that a 16 year old owns the business. You don't need to be incorporated to get an EIN (like a social security number, but for other entities like trusts and businesses, including sole proprietors).

Hopefully she'll be 18 by that point and can have her own everything in her name!
