Be wary of recruiters calling you and telling you there's a hot job, without any specific detail on who the client is. The recruiter will want your private information, including social security number.
Steer clear of these scammers. They are at worst ID thieves, at best overseas recruiters from India who will claim your resume and then email it to any possible company in the relevant industry. Then when you actually get a gig at a company, these scammers will threaten legal action against that company because they presented your resume "first".
