Does anyone use Amazon pantry?
« on: December 12, 2017, 11:24:32 AM »
I have several £3 off codes for choosing no rush delivery from Amazon, but I don't know if it's worth doing. My understanding is that you pay a delivery fee per delivery, so that might well wipe out any savings from my discount code. Do you use it, and how do you make sure you get good value?

I buy food from Amazon but don't use pantry because when I've looked at it the pantry shipping cost outweighs the small extra item cost for just using prime shipping which is free. It probably depends on what you buy though. If you could fill a whole box it may be better. I don't normally buy more than what I need. Mostly, I use them for spices & dry beans & grains.

I've found Amazon pantry to not pencil out.  Amazon Fresh however, is excellent.

Amazon Pantry seems like a great idea but they don't always have the best selection or even the lowest prices. Why spend time trying to online shop for my paper towels, toliet paper, sugar, etc... when I still have to go shopping at Aldi and the local supermarket because they don't have everything I need.

I do use Amazon Subscribe and Save as it is really a time and money saver not having to go to the pet store anymore for my dog or cat food or litter.

Honestly, I’ve tried a few times with Amazon Pantry, and I'm apparently too stupid to figure it out. I don't find it to be user friendly at all.
