Post by: kenaces on April 22, 2017, 02:30:47 PM
I am looking for a cheap bike to ride to work(1 mile flat) and for some fun.

https://offerup.com/item/detail/264115570/?ref=FilteredSearch&event_source=c756f1ace62a4113a1f2e5437ac1ef38

What do you guys think?  I have never used offer.com so any advice on that?

thanks

looks fun.  Have you ever ridden a fixie?  Is it the right sized frame?  $200 seems reasonable for something new.

Not sure if it was fixed or not but it already sold - back to the drawing board

LOL - just found same bike and same buyer but the exposure on MMM must have raised the price - now they want $350

1 mile flat? Any sub $100 bike from Walmart...Or the cheapest thing on Craigslist.

thanks :)

I am looking at a few other single speeds to see if they even sell at what seems like overpriced asking price.  I am in no rush but I do want a nice ride, so I plan on taking a wait and see approach.

1 mile flat? get a beater off craigslist. learn to do your own maintenance. get something that you dont have to worry about if its stolen. its just a mode of transportation, beware of shiny new toy syndrome.
