I have an arrangement to sell my husband's old iPhone 4 for Verizon network to someone who wants to use it with Tracfone, which looks to be possible now, and if it's not, meh, that's her business to figure out.
I know how to erase the device, but do I need to call Verizon to have them do anything to it?
She wants to pick up at 1:00 tomorrow, so speedy help is much appreciated, mustachian friends! Thanks!

After you erase it, remove the SIM card. I assume you've already stopped or transferred Verizon service on it.

Verizon iPhone 4 doesn't have a SIM card to remove.

I sold my wife's old iPhone 4S on Amazon. After deleting everything and cancelling service, I went to checkesnfree.com Make sure the ESN shows up as Clean. That way the other person won't have any trouble activating it.

Not sure if this is in time, but before you erase it, go to the settings and disable Find My iPhone and iMessage.

We have a different phone on Verizon now. I'll just call them and ask. If anyone still knows anything different that what's above, please do chime in. I appreciate the help!
