I have always wanted one, having grown up with them. But the math doesn’t make sense for my wife and me at this point to buy one. Fortunately, though, as of April this year we have access to a shared family one. My mom split the cost of a class C with three of her siblings, and all the kids in the extended family can use it for free. So stoked for when we get to use it!

We bought a used motor home with 32k miles on it in 2007. It was 27 ft and built in 1993. The inside was like new because the previous 2 owners barely used it. We were no different. Being on the West coast gas skyrocketed about a year after buying and RV parks were expensive. We could take our 4 dogs which was great. A month was the most I could handle. Things broke frequently and sometimes my husband could fix it and occasionally we had to hire it done. Luckily we had space for it at our house. It was nice to have to see the national parks. Otherwise we prefer motels or Airbnb. We sold it in February. Don’t miss it at all.

We are lusting after a Forest River GeoPro 19FDS model (it just came out this month). It can be towed by a mid-size SUV, is under $25K, and has a dry bathroom.  We have never owned our own RV before though.

Now I want a Forest River RV No Boundaries NB19.7.

Thanks a lot! ;)

Yes-that’s how it goes, right!?! The Geo Pro Facebook group is awesome. No idea if the NOBO one is any good.
