Programming Remote Keyless Entry
« on: March 22, 2016, 09:05:49 AM »
Was not sure if anyone has had any experience buying a remote keyless entry for a Toyota vehicle before?  While the idea of a remote keyless entry is prob anti-mustachian, especially on my entirely unnecessary large 07 Toyota Sequoia, the do it yourself part here thought would get approval (plus my car was stolen and no guarantees on insurance replacing this).    I see Amazon has the key for about $35 and it says it has instructions, plus I see there are youtube clips about this, compared to the estimated $200 the dealer would charge seems like the move to make.

I only have experience from my old Honda, but if they work similarly you will easily save a lot of money by pairing the remote yourself.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
