Need help repairing whirlpool dryer
« on: July 17, 2013, 11:04:19 AM »
My dryer broke down, it doesn't do anything when you press start, only thing you hear is the buzz of the timer acting like it is working but nothing spins

I already replaced the thermal fuse and the belt thinking it might be those two from my own googling... anyways it didn't help. I'm running out of ideas and would rather not replace it/call repairman if possible but I might have too if I don't find anything else to try. I don't have a tool to test if the electrical sensors are working or not so it's a blind guess unless someone knows exact problem/solution.

So who has some ideas for me to try out? :D

Run your Whirlpool model number through the Appliance Samurai's website:
FixItNow.com

If that troubleshooting doesn't help then post your question to his forum.  You may not hear from the Samurai directly, but several professional appliance repair guys post there.
