My husband just tracked down an old pension from a company he left over 20 years ago. The pension (now linked through his Fidelity account) is listed as paying out $300 a month. Doesn't sound much until you apply MMM math to it.
300/mo=3600/yr x 25 = 90k of equivalent stash.
Am I doing the calculation right?

Yes, there are probably nuances in every case but replacing 300 a month is a whopping 90k!
