Is this a good commuter/hybrid bike and a good deal?
« on: May 09, 2013, 09:19:52 AM »
I've posted a link to a Trek 7100 for sale in my area.

Can anyone more knowledgeable in this area tell me if this
appears to be a good deal?

It appears to be based on the "internet research" done but
wanted to get some feedback if possible.

Here is the link:

Thanks so much,

Seems solid.  May as well jump on it now and ride it for a couple weeks.

If for whatever reason you don't like it then you should be able to flip it on Craigslist for little/no net loss.

Looks like a good deal, as long as it rides well and fits you I would go with it.

I have a Trek 7100 myself that I use for commuting to work (6 miles each way, half of which is on a bike path and the other half on roads). It works great! I paid around $350 for it brand new in 2008.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
