Hi Mustacheville -
Looking for any experience or resources anyone might have on inheritance tax loopholes between the UK and USA. We unfortunately got some bad news that my father has terminal cancer and won't make it much past a year. He has since learned his income will be subject to a 40% inheritance tax (as standard in the UK).
Aside from the "gift exceptions" that exist over here, does anyone know of options we have to invest/transfer between the UK and USA to take less of a hit overall?
Thanks in advance
