HSAs for 2019
« on: January 09, 2019, 07:58:39 PM »
I am in the market for a retirement/investment HSA.  I'll be starting this year.  I am not the best at understanding investment options (I get expense ratio that is low is good and fees are bad), but even figuring out individual funds gets me exhausted.  Im early 30s, ideally looking for an index fund investment with low bond allocation to last 30 years.

I am wondering about recommendations people have for an HSA.  Fast google/bogglehead search indicated fidelity is a pretty good place to go as they recently cut fees.  Anyone have recommendations or experiences to share? (especially since the last HSA thread here is over a year old, and times can change).

Thanks so much.

So far so good with Fidelity here. Here's a good list of investments available there that are equivalent to the vanguard funds you'll see recommended all over the place: https://www.bogleheads.org/wiki/Fidelity

Lively would be the other option to consider. If you go with them you'll invest through TD Ameritrade, so here's a similar list for them: https://www.bogleheads.org/wiki/TD_Ameritrade
