How to sell BP gas cards?
« on: February 10, 2015, 01:48:53 PM »
I got a bunch a part of a promotion.  I don't have a gas station close to me, and I don't drive enough to use them up.  The online sites for gift cards take a 15% commission after a sales price is agreed with a buyer. Ebay seems a challenge with the concern of scammers. Any ideas?

Have you checked all the different sites? Cardpool doesn't charge that much from what I've looked into before. Maybe 5% or slightly less if you trade it for an Amazon card.

Contact a friend or relative and have them trade. If you put all of them together, buy an Exxon Mobile card for the combined amount, and send the BP cards away for a check in return, that should work...

Thanks for the ideas. Carpool will pay 90% and issue a check, which will fund another home improvement project.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
