I posted this on r/Costco and didn't get much of a response. Anyone here have experience with a damaged Costco return fail?
--------------------
I bought a fancy pants range from Costco.com, which was delivered (and damaged by Innovel) on July 14th. The range still worked, but the guy tried to jam the racks in and chipped the blue interior ceramic in several places. He took responsibility for the damage.
I offered to keep the range if they could find some sort of high heat coating repair, but Costco insisted on sending another, which arrived on August 11th. This time I put the racks in myself...
The damaged range has been sitting here for over 3 weeks now. I got an email on 8/23 stating "We are showing that the exchange was completed on 08/11/2020. I want to thank you for your time, patience, and allowing us to assist you with this situation. At this time I am going to move forward with resolving this open issue. " I quickly shot back an email saying the damaged one was still here. No response. I sent another email on 9/1. Crickets.
How long before a friend gets to take this slightly damaged range off my hands?
