How do I fix this pvc pipe?
« on: May 01, 2020, 09:08:06 PM »
A squirrel fell into my gutter, and then fell into my drainpipe when I was trying to free it. I assume the sewer rats have murdered it. RIP squirrel.

I sawed off part of a pvc pipe off that drains water from the house during the unsuccessful squirrel operation. How do I fix it? Do I stick a bigger pipe over the smaller pipe? I hope this picture helps.

If you go to a hardware store they'll have a variety of PVC fittings. Measure the end you have to work with and buy the fittings that get you back to the spot you want the water to drain. You can buy some adhesive from the store as well. Dry fit everything to ensure you are happy. Take it apart and reassemble with the adhesive applied. Let dry.
