It's a good idea to take online classes through a brick and mortar school because employers look down on "online degrees."
If schools/MBA programs are to stay relevant, they will have to change to accommodate today's student which is going on-line.
Pros: The fact that you don't have to travel back and forth to class. This is a huge benefit. Discussion boards work great for having classroom discussion. Tests can be proctored at a local community college if you are far away from school.
Cons: Working/collaborating with other students who may be half-way around the world; lack of personal interaction with other students/professors.
I would do a Google search to see how they are rated, and see which one would most fit what you are looking for.
ltt, I don't think mozar was saying to go the strictly brick and mortar route, I believe mozar was saying take the online courses through a more recognized brick and mortar school. Many, many, traditional schools are developing online-only curriculums because they do recognize that as a growing trend of the future. It's a business decision...if they don't do it someone else will, and take all that sweet, sweet tuition money.
I don't mean to continue to put words in mozar's mouth, but I think what was meant was avoid the online only schools (often for profit institutions) that often have little or no real accreditation.

Whether a degree is from a school's online-only program or not, the degree is the same as if they physically attended. One example in my state of VA is Liberty University. They are an evangelical school, so that may or not put you off, but they have a massive online curriculum available. A friend of mine recently completed his MBA entirely online there and it cost about $10K. I got my MBA the old fashion way...and it cost more than twice as much. Yet both of our degrees come from highly recognized and accredited universities...his degree doesn't say "Note: Online Only"
He got the better deal...I wish I had known before going down that road. My employers only care that I have an MBA from a school that they regularly donate a lot of money too...
