Hi
Is there any article to help me understand my insurance policy on life and critical illness easily? Or a tool to compare?
I bought this 15 years ago (was naive) and doesn't know much
The reason I am getting a life is for paying the mortgage and living expense for my dependents and critical illness is for expensive items not covered by the government.
I live in Asia and the basic health care are provided at affordable pricing but a long wait. As an example, USD10-20 to see GP include medicine. However, some expensive drugs are paid out of pocket. For example, my friend mum recently did a heart by-pass and need to paid USD 10k for the drugs and the stent, the hospital stay is just USD20 a day which include everything (doctors, bed and food, all nursing etc).
As I am getting older, the premium is getting much more expensive and I dont know if I should continue to pay in the same provider or start shopping around. I am generally healthy
