I have an iPhone 5S and I would like to find a lower priced cell plan, using my existing phone. Currently using Verizon and considering Sprint prepaid or Republic wireless.
Would love everyone's input and suggestions please. Any other lower priced plan providers I should look at ?

I have a Verizon-based iPhone 5S and found PagePlus to have the best plan for me. $59.00/month for unlimited data.

Either a Verizon MVNO, or any GSM MVNO (although I'm not sure if it'd support T-Mobile 3G or LTE bands). IIRC the SIM slot on Verizon iPhones is unlocked, but I could be wrong :)
What carriers work in your area?

I must be missing something or have some grandfathered Verizon plan that is in a sweetspot since everytime I review Verizon MVNOs, I am disappointed. My Version plan is 4 people, all iPhones ranging in models, unlimited calling, unlimited texting, 10GB shared data for $145. That is about $40 per person. Now our phone are owned, well really paid off through 2 year contracts that ended.
Sure there are MVNOs that offer slightly lower prices but for less data, sometime data speed thresholds, and sometime minute caps. Could we work without those boundaries and save some $, sure but it hardly seems worth it.
Also, I get it that OP's question was for a single user plan and that family plans can provide some pricing reductions but I wanted to share how my MVNO exploration has, so far, led me to stay with Verizon.

Republic will require that you use one of their phones. You won't be able to use your iPhone so if that is important they aren't an option for you.
