Is anyone/does anyone know any fee-only Financial Advisors who got to where they are by some way other than by first spending time selling their soul to a big corporation, hocking their products so they could get their licenses? If so, how did you/they do it? Are there any other career paths (financial coach/counselor?) that don't place such a heavy emphasis on sales? Just curious about what's out there. Thanks.
