How long did it take you to get the card number after you applied for it? Did you apply online and get it immediately so you could use it immediately, or did you have to wait a few days/week or two?
We have a prescreened offer we'll accept, and have excellent credit so approval is not an issue.
We're planning on flying JetBlue in April. We're hoping to buy tickets when they have one of their fare sales. (The last one we spotted was Nov 1 for travel through Feb 14.) I'd like to wait to get the JetBlue credit card as long as possible (so we have the use of the benefits of 1 free bag per person as long as possible, in case we travel again on it within the year) - without missing the next fare sale that includes April traveling.
