Hey everyone, my family is moving to LA from Chicago this summer and I have an idea to run past you all. Other than the fridge and microwave, our main electricity use on a daily basis will be powering two laptops and our phones. We also plan on doing a fair bit of camping and such. Due to the nature of our work, we need to have at least one phone and preferably a laptop with us on these trips. Do you have a recommendation on a portable solar panel kit we could keep on the roof of a car or a balcony and use to power this equipment at home and away? I think it would be cool first step towards energy independence. (Yes I know it's not cost effective).
