club treasurer software recommendations
« on: May 28, 2018, 08:56:18 AM »
I am incoming club treasurer for local Lions Club. Current treasurer using QuickBooks through their small business.
Local Lions Club has a club treasurer and a 501c foundation treasurer. We need new accounting software to be used for both club and foundation.
I did a Google search. Alpos looks good but expensive, $480 per year. MoneyMinder and Treasurer's Briefcase are available, $180 per year. Several free accounting software options popped up. The word free scarces me.

I am not a computer whiz. Would appreciate recommendations for club treasurer software

Thanks

Thanks for your reply. I posted this same question on Bogleheads and Early Retirement forums. QuickBooks seems to be obvious choice. QuickBooks has been around and should be around for the future.
