Cleaning schedules and routines
« on: May 13, 2017, 08:14:43 PM »
Have you found a cleaning schedule or routine that works for you?  Care to share it?  What about home maintenance tasks?  Internet searches and Pinterest turn up so many options, but a lot of them seem really complicated.

I use an app called Regularly to keep track of when chores need to be done. I find it easier to keep a flexible schedule than to wait until things get really bad. It is also good for reminding yourself to do things like schedule dentist appointments.

You might check out Flylady. She has a weekly schedule and system to minimize house cleaning and organization. She sends email reminders and is free. Her system has helped me and many friends. Hope this helps you.

Following. I've been looking at apps for this purpose.

Unfuck Your Habitat has an app, and is pretty entertaining, too.

Honestly, my own routines are based on Motivated Moms, because it has reminders for things you don't need to do very often, like change the furnace filter. Plus, the thing that I hate to do is clean the fridge and mine is always horrible, and their list has you clean one shelf every week, which I can manage.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
