Title: Changing Sim Cards
Post by: ThatGuy on June 04, 2019, 07:34:22 PM
This is probably a stupid question but I'm a little gun shy since I got screwed the last time I tried switching my cell phone service.  If I change sim cards to try out a new cell service will it cancel my current service?

Changing your SIM card won't cancel you current service, but porting your number to a new provider will. As long as you're ok with getting a new number with the new SIM it should be fine. The old SIM will continue to work if you put it back in the phone.

Some Co's will give you a new # to test the service and then port your prev. #, but I'm pretty sure you need to coordinate this before you get the new, temp. #.
