I would give notice if they bring up promotion. It may prevent you from getting the promotion but that’s no big deal since you’re leaving soon anyway. I once gave five month notice so that the company could make plans to replace me.
Also, I would clarify that you are leaving because of your husband’s job, not because you are unhappy.
