Hello everyone, as the title says I am travelling to Pheonix for 2-3 weeks in March.

I have been trying to find alternatives to hotels, and have been looking up different travel websites such as AIRBNB.

We will be a group of 4 adults + 1 infant (6 month old) we are going for a holiday just to enjoy the warm weather.  Since we will be bringing our baby, we want to stay in a house / condo rather then a hotel.  Seeing as we will be spending a lot of time around the home with his nap schedule etc.

The accommodation websites I have found all end up being around 4 - 8 thousand for a 3 week stay, which to me is crazy I might as well go to Mexico and stay in a resort for half the price.

Does anyone have any suggestions of different websites?  Does anyone have any travel experience or connections to places they have stayed?  Does anyone own property they would be looking to rent out?

We would want our own house / condo.  We don't have any interest of renting a bedroom or anything - and again this is just because we are bringing our son, we don't want to be worried about him making noise at 3 AM - worried about feeding in private etc.

Thanks in advance

You're coming to Phx at one of the most popular times of the year; approximately half the population will be your countrymen.

I have a vacation rental in Phoenix in a nice area.  January thru April are the most popular times.  March is the highest time because a lot of baseball teams do spring training in March in Phoenix, and most kids are out of school all over the US for one or two weeks between late March and early April.  Most rentals will already be completely booked anyway.  I charge $200 or more per night for a 2BR, 2BA (both ensuite)  that is newly high-end remodeled (this is going to be our retirement home) in a very nice part of town with a view of downtown and Camelback Mountain.   I am fully booked until the second week in April and have been for quite some time.  It is simply a time for wonderful weather and whole lot going on.  Prices reflect that.

If you want to come in mid-April - PM me and I'll give you the link and work out a small MMM discount.

Yep, March is busiest time. I pretty much don't leave my house during the spring because there are so many people. Early-mid April is still relatively nice weather, and there are less people. April 25th is the earliest day its ever hit 100F in Phoenix, so... you know... book before then.

Also, for anyone from cold weather climates visiting... Please remember that if you go hiking, etc... bring lots of water, a hat for shade, a cell phone in case of emergencies. Every year visitors die hiking in the mountains around Phoenix because they were ill prepared for the warm, dry weather. Please be careful.
