It is a sunk cost, but it's also an opportunity to get a plane ticket for no more than what you've already sunk in. Do you really have no interest in taking a vacation in the foreseeable future?

Do you have any friends or family you’d like to visit that the typical airfare to their location exceeds the $120 change fee? Ideally there’s someone that you’d like to visit that a typical flight to them costs just under that $750 credit to really maximize things.

Yeah, I'd see where that airline goes and visit family, friends, or go on a vacation.  I think you can book up to 11 months out, correct?
