Calling all Dutch Mustachians

Hello Friends,

I am hoping some of the wise Dutch Mustachians on this forum can help me get my new nephew an early start on saving / investing. My wife and I would like to contribute some money towards his education, but it appears that Holland does not have an equivalent to our Canadian Registered Education Savings Plan. Are there any tax-advantaged accounts in Holland that we can use to get some money compounding for him early on? Or, will we have to wait until he is old enough to file his own tax returns before we can start investing with him? Any tips would be much appreciated!

Well, not an expert on kids' savings accounts. But I am Dutch and looked into tax advanced options. I'm afraid there's no such thing for kids' in the NL, though. Only for retirement and those come with a lot of strings attached.
Please try to post this in the Dutch thread in the Meetup section. It's called "Any Dutch mustachians here", maybe someone with more knowledge on tax advanced options sees it there.
