Buying used/refurbished for Ting user
« on: January 08, 2017, 06:48:39 AM »
My phone died. I use Tng. Looking to buy iPhone 5s.  Refurbished costs $249 at Ting and about the same ($238) for 'excellent condition'  at Gazelle.com. Can anyone speak to buying used/refurbished at either of these two places.

Can't speak to the sources you mentioned but I recently bought a refurbished iPhone 6s from Apply to use on Ting.  No issues so far, everything is working well.

That seems high for a 5S in 2017.  My GF got a used 5S for $200 almost two years ago.

Don't forget to add in the $9 plus priority shipping for a Ting SIM card if you buy a phone with anyone but Ting. We ended up shelling out $23 I wasn't expecting to spend on two SIM cards and shipping when we switched.
