Buying an oven at rebate
« on: October 30, 2015, 12:10:33 AM »
My wife had be nagging me for sometime now asking me to buy a microwave. Since we live at Toronto it is not easy to survive a winter without an oven, so I have decided to get one before this winter. I found one at a reasonable price at the Best Brand Appliances. It's an Electrolux 30" over-the-range convection microwave oven, http://www.bestbrandappliance.ca/en/catalog/product/163095-Electrolux-EI30BM6CPS . Seems to be a good option as it falls in my budget and they are also having a special offer for Electrolux ovens. They are offering upto 25% discount for the ovens. The offer is valid till 31st December so before that I would like to if this would a good buy. Do you know of any other places that offer better rates?

Why do you want an over the range version if you don't have an oven?

I have a kitchen aid convection microwave and a toaster oven. They take care of 50% of my range cooking/ boiling needs and 85% of my oven needs.

I can't see the price, but be aware the cost for work on mine for new micro element and fix. Broken fuse for the display was $250 after 6 years of use.

Check out the Sears outlet centre. Scratch and dents with a store wide sale are a great buy.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
