Title: Building Up Your Blog When It's Anonymous
Post by: MrsBFI on December 06, 2017, 04:48:25 PM
Hey Everyone!

I was wondering if one of your income streams is a blog, how you go about promoting it without seeming to "salesy".

My fiance and I have a personal finance blog (that's anonymous) and due to the anonymity portion, promoting this to friends and family isn't an option.
I've started to post on forums and try to include links, but this can feel slimy and very pitchy.

Have any of you been in this position? I would love any ideas on how to get our numbers up so that we can start generating some serious FI income off of this thing!

Thanks in advance,

-Mrs. BFI

I'm not a blogger, but maybe you could do guest posts on related blogs to drive traffic to yours. Some good advice here from a blogger I know: https://myadaptablecareer.com/create-editorial-calendar-blog-need-one/
